We Believe....

 

We Believe...in the absolute inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as contained in the sixty-six books of the Old & New Testament Furthermore, we accept these same scriptures to be complete, inerrant as to the original text, and the only source of faith & doctrine.

(2 Timothy 3:16)

 

We Believe...in only one true and living God, creator of heaven and earth. He is the father &

sustainer of all life, being Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent in his sovereign divine will, the LORD God has chosen to reveal himself to mankind as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Ephesians 4:6, John 4:24, 1John 5:7, Isaiah 9:6)

 

We Believe...in the virgin birth of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is the only begotten

son of God. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 16:16, Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3)

 

We Believe...In the total depravity and sinfulness of all mankind brought on by the fall of the

first man Adam. Because of man's fallen nature he was born alienated from God and doomed

to spend eternity in outer darkness and torment. The death and shed blood of Christ on the cross paid the debt of man's sin and gave us an opportunity to receive forgiveness sins and to be reconciled back to God. (Romans 3:10, Colossians 1:20-21, Ephesians 2:13)

 

We Believe...in the adminstration & work of the Holy Spirit in this church age. He ministers to

his people through interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, working of miracles & healing. (Mark 16:15, Acts 5:16, 2Corinthians 12:1-11)
